Independent Assessment Quality Standards:
These standards apply to Independent Medical Evaluations, Independent Psychological Evaluations, Multidisciplinary Assessments and Vocational Assessments
- The Independent Assessment is an independent, impartial and unbiased evaluation of the client. It involves all of the essential elements of a detailed medical assessment including history, examination and review of diagnostic materials.
- The questions posed are answered
- Assessors confine themselves to their own area of expertise
- The report clearly outlines all steps involved in the evaluation and the information obtained in the evaluation. The report is easy to read, unambiguous and easy to understand by a non-medical person. It is truthful and demonstrates the integrity of the professional completing it. The conclusion is supported by the information contained in the report.
- Our assessors are experienced and able to defend their reports
Functional Capacity Evaluation Quality Standards:
- The FCE is independent, impartial and unbiased
- Objective testing methods are used together with observations of the tester
- The results and conclusions are scientifically based and legally defensible
- Safe, maximal functional abilities are assessed using state of the art techniques and equipment
- Consistency of effort is assessed
- Questions posed are answered
- The report clearly outlines the steps involved in the evaluation and the information obtained in the evaluation. The report is easy to read, unambiguous and easy to understand by a non-medical person. The conclusion is supported by the information contained in the report
- The report is full defensible
